George Harvey

Financial Consultant

George has worked in financial services since 2015, beginning his career as a Financial Administrator at Westerby Group. In 2018, he moved within the Group to become a Trainee Financial Consultant, before expanding his technical expertise as a Paraplanner in Manchester from 2020 to 2022.

George began advising clients in 2022 and returned to Leicester—and to Westerby—in 2024 as a Financial Consultant.

George’s experience spans several roles and firms, including time as a self‑employed adviser, giving him a well‑rounded understanding of the financial planning process. He now supports his clients at Westerby by offering personalised advice tailored to their individual goals.

He holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (achieved in 2019) and the Level 4 Certificate in Long Term Care and Later Life Planning (achieved in 2025).

Alongside his client work, George is committed to developing the next generation of advisers. He mentors trainee consultants and shares his knowledge to support their professional growth.
