After a successful career in Design Engineering, Les McLintic moved into financial services in 1978, becoming a shareholder and director of a growing advisory firm. When the business was acquired by The Commercial Union in 1987, Les took the opportunity to establish Westerby Investment Management Limited.

Continuing to expand the Group’s capabilities, he founded Westerby Trustees Limited in 1996 to provide specialist trusteeship and administration services.

Today—more than 35 years on—Les serves as a Trustee of the Employee Ownership Trust, acting for the benefit of all employees of the Westerby Group, a well‑established organisation delivering high‑quality financial solutions to both corporate and private clients.
